Acrylic Plant II products are made using the SNIA Italian technology combining solution polymerization and wet spinning with the DMF solvent. The feedstock used by this factory comprise acrylonitrile (AN) and methylacrylate (MA). The annual production capacity of Acrylic Plant II is 36000 metric tons.

It enjoy two almost similar and parallel production processes differing in that there is the possibility of gel dyeing of fibers in one production process only. The fibers thus obtained have a bean-shaped cross-section and extremely high resistance to the sun light and environmental factors such as a high degree of colorfastness and mechanical strength for the fibers. They are chiefly used in a variety of cut lengths in the carpet and textile industries.
The fibers produced by PIC Acrylic Plant II are designed, produced and supplied to the market in three major groups as listed in the following tables and as required by the market:
A. Staple Products
B. Tow Products
C. Special Products
